I have always seen the world through color. I love the red cast of the sun on the earth, and the green cast on a child's hand. I celebrate all the colors with paint. I love to paint texture into the organic. A tree, a flower or a smile. I love to paint the life into the subject. I want my paintings to dance.
Susan Tino Santillo is a Artist who resides in Hebron, Ct., and is best known for her Floral Paintings and Child Portraits. Her paintings are colorful and vivid scenes of New England, and of the many gardens nearby. Her professional training includes Upsala College in New Jersey, and the many workshops held around the country for Watercolor. Susan has trained with Janet Walsh and Betty Sennett for the past 10 years.
She teaches locally and is a member of the Connecticut Watercolor Society as well as many other Art Associations both in Connecticut, New England and New Jersey.
She is a plein air oil painter, and works with pastels and oils as well as watercolors.
